37Signals has just blogged about the eagerly anticipated calendar feature for its hit Backpack online application. You can see it in action via a recorded Quicktime demo at their site. Like most everything else they make, the calendar looks pretty impressive, yet very simple to use.

This may be one of the missing links to Backpack. I’d still like for them to incorporate some sort of search mechanism, and for someone to build a strong offline version via the Backpack API.
